The Electronic Government (E-government) has the potential to change the way that a government interacts with citizens and businesses through the new ways of the government’s operation. The realization of E-government affects everyone because the role of government is all-encompassing and very complex. The common problems faced by citizens with no E-government and with E-government are inconvenient to make a payment, since they must travel for one place to another, time consuming in queuing, some people may not know how to access the internet or the internet access slow, this might bring troublesome to them.

However, there are some efficient implementations of E-government such as Electronic Service, Electronic Labour Exchange, Electronic Syariah and so on. With E-service, one can now conduct transactions with Government agencies, such as the Road Transport Department (RTD), to renewing road tax and driving licence online. Electronic filing of income tax forms to pay the personal income tax. Private utility companies such as Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), people can pay that bill trough various convenient channels such as the eServices kiosks and internet.

By using E-government, there are no more queuing, traffics jams or travel anywhere and one can now conduct transaction at one’s own convenience. Nowadays, internet has become more important in our lives, because it has conveniently provided us many services and information, therefore, we have to learn up the knowledge of how to access it, utilize it and enjoy it.
